The fifth grade classes in Amy’s school has been suffering from flu-go-round. Almost every child is getting a turn.
Amy’s class had 8 students out sick. Her friend Casey’s class had 15 students absent on one day! That’s got to be a record of some sort.
Amy was among the casulty. It started with fever, then coughing and runny nose. She was sick for a total of 5 days with 3 days absent from school.
Now Audrey is sick. Her fever just started last night. I hope she recovers quickly because it’s not so easy to catch up on schoolwork when you are in 11th grade, especially in the IB program. Apparently, the high schoolers are also playing ful-go-round. It’s no fun.
