One thing I don’t like about some comics and comedies is that the dads/men always seem to be the brunt of the joke. They are the morons and the women roll their eyes at them. Seems to me a feminist attitude.…
Amy unfortunately inherited my allergy problems resulting in frequent post nasal drip. It causes soreness in her throat and a nauseous feeling. It is not fun. I should know because I have post nasal drip practically year-round.
Everyday Amy asks to be prayed for. And I do pray for her everyday. And everyday the post nasal drip still bothers her.
First day of school for me this year was different…I had to take only one child to school.
When school started with Elliot as a Kindergartener, Audrey had to come with us to drop him off. So there’s always been at least 2 kids to get ready for school. For several years, there were 3 to take to different schools with different schedules.
I was on campus at a junior college, ready to attend class. I knew I missed a few days of school, but that’s ok, I can catch up. Suddenly a friend tells me that school started a week ago and I actually missed 2 weeks!
I better hurry to my class, but I can’t find…

Amy and I, since we have all the time in the world with 1 week left of summer vacation, worked together on one of those activity sheets. The paper starts out with a page covered with random small shapes. We are to color in the spaces that has a dot in it, and do not color in the spaces without a dot. After it’s all done, it’s suppose to be a recognizable picture.
This is from my sister-in-law, written by her, not an e-rumor. I am reminded again that I have nothing to complain about.

In this Hamish Macbeth series, the victim is always someone annoying whom everyone wants dead. No one feels sorry for the deceased, so almost everyone in the small seaside village is a suspect.
Why are some people just so unhappy? Sure, there are times when circumstances are against us and makes us unhappy. But some people have a general “unhappiness” about them.
I think here are some reasons why:
They pine for what could be instead of seeing their present circumstances as a gift.
