One thing I don’t like about some comics and comedies is that the dads/men always seem to be the brunt of the joke. They are the morons and the women roll their eyes at them. Seems to me a feminist attitude. But most of the writers of those comics are men. Why is that? Off the top of my head, I can think of Blondie, Drabble, Simpsons, Brewster Rockit with that motif. Comics such as Zits and Baby Blues makes fun of both the husband and wife equally. I can think of only one comic that makes fun of women, and that is Cathy.
