i just finished reading The Complete Short Stories of Miss Marple mysteries, by Agatha Christie, of course.

Short who-dunnit stories are fun to read, but they are not as satisfying as a whole novel. There’s no build up to the crime and examining of suspects. The resolution is interesting, but it happens too fast.

The best part of this is I got it for $2 at the library, in new condition.

You should watch Mystery! then. They had Miss Marple last month. Although they don’t follow the stories all the well and take other Agatha Christie plots to incorporate Marple, the actress is really good because she is slightly fluffy but generally a harmless looking old lady. 😀

Is that the Mystery channel? I don’t think I get that on my TV. I would like to see how they dramatize it.

I completely agree that Christie’s short stories does not give the same satisfaction as reading her full length novel..
