The way we live may be considered “the good life” – prosperous and doing whatever we please, havingĀ a good time. We think the “gray areas” are not so bad; the ends justify the means and the means justify the ends. We are accountable to no one.
But God sees all. From God’s perspective, sin is always sin. His standards are high.
Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter.Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
and clever in their own sight. ~Isaiah 5:20-21
