Today is my husband’s birthday. What does he want for his birthday? Roast duck for dinner. So I am going now to Sam Woo’s to buy a duck. Easy enough!
We spent a few hours on Balboa Island this morning, walking on the harbor and pier, enjoying the beautiful sunshine and cool ocean breeze – just the 2 of us. We talked real estate of course, commenting on every house we see as we walked, wishing we owned one of them that faces the ocean, talking about where we can afford to retire. Definitely can’t afford Balboa Island. We find that we don’t want to be bothered with a lot of actiivty. Some quiet time just us 2 was a perfect way to spend the day.
