The derogatory definition of mother-in-law does not fit my mother-in-law. By her example, I’ve learned some lessons that I hope I will practice as mother-in-law one day:<\/p>\n
Don’t give advice unless you’re asked
\nKeep yourself occupied with your own hobbies so you don’t meddle into other people’s business
\nThe younger generation will do things differently. It doesn’t mean they are wrong
\nIf they are wrong, let them learn from their mistake
\nYour way is not the best way, no matter how old you are, or how much experience you have
\nIt’s ok to try and fail. Just keep trying and you will get it right
\nDon’t be bothered by every little thing; life is too short
\nMake yourself useful
\nComplaining doesn’t get you any where
\nIf you want to be treated well, treat others well
