Davis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Voices of the Faithful<\/em> with Beth Moore is a unique blend of daily devotions, <a href=\"https:\/\/katylee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/VoicesOfTheFaithful.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1405\" title=\"VoicesOfTheFaithful\" src=\"https:\/\/katylee.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/VoicesOfTheFaithful.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"140\" height=\"215\" \/><\/a>missionary stories, and Bible teaching.<\/p>\n<p>The collection of missionaries&#8217; experiences from around the world are organized as daily devotions into monthly topics such as God&#8217;s Character, Prayer, Contentment, Spiritual Warfare. Each month begins with an introduction of the theme by Beth Moore. I&#8217;ve always enjoyed Beth Moore&#8217;s insights and personable style.<\/p>\n<p>As is typical of devotional books, each day&#8217;s devotional begins with a verse and ends with a prayer. What is not typical are the missionary stories that illustrates the verses and the monthly themes. Everything ties together very well, and effectively brings out the Biblical teaching.<\/p>\n<p>I would&#8217;ve liked to read more about the experiences of the missionaries as each day is only one page short.
