In the car? On the bed? Before a meal?<\/p>\n<p>Do you ever take a concentrated time and pray on your knees?<\/p>\n<p>I am going to do that.<\/p>\n<p>Imagine if one of my children wants to ask me for a huge favor, something very serious and urgent. Does she just run by casually and leave quickly? No, she would stop everything she is doing and begs until I say yes. She would demand my full attention, and do whatever it takes to make sure I listen and respond.<br \/>\nI think we take God&#8217;s love and mercy for granted.<\/p>\n<p>I\u00c2\u00a0 pray and expect him to answer, when I haven&#8217;t even shown seriousness in my prayers.<\/p>\n<p>A while back, I started praying on my knees. It really readjusted my attitude about the seriousness of prayer. But I wanted to be comfortable, and didn&#8217;t make it a priority. Is God happy with that? Thank God that he is all loving, patient and full of mercy. I need to treat him with respect and honor, not take his kindness for granted.<\/p>\n<p>I am encouraged today to go to God on my knees, literally.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When and how do you pray?
