I read the book a while back, and knew what to expect. I don&#8217;t like to be surprised in movies. I am scared of surprises and bad endings. The movie was nicely done. The cruel and sex parts of the books were not overplayed, which was good.<\/p>\n<p>No matter how good the movie, the book is always better. A movie just cannot develop the depth of characters like a book can. I always much rather read the book than see the movie. The exception is when they write a book based on a movie.
