Anytime you use soy sauce and garlic, it tastes Asian.<\/p>\n<p>You can add variations to it to make it different every time: siracha or red pepper flakes, 5 spice, herbs, lemon zest are a few examples.<\/p>\n<p>I used it for pork chops, but I think it&#8217;d be good for chicken.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic Asian Marinade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3 T soy sauce<\/p>\n<p>1 T ketchup<\/p>\n<p>1 T worchestershire<\/p>\n<p>2-3 T honey<\/p>\n<p>1 T chopped garlic<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp apple cider vinegar (you can skip this if you don&#8217;t have it on hand)<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp oil<\/p>\n<p>Mix all the ingredients, reserve a tablespoon or 2 to brush on the meat before serving if all the sauce dries out during cooking.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a basic &#8220;Asian&#8221; flavor marinade.
