And it&#8217;s one of those sins that you know is a sin, and have confessed it, but only on the surface. And the Holy Spirit convicts you of it again when he opens your eyes to see the gravity of it in a different light. And the light bulb comes on&#8230;oh the effects of my sin is awful. God showed it to me at prayer meeting tonight.<\/p>\n<p>I am grateful for Psalm 32:3-5<\/p>\n<div class=\"stanza\" style=\"color: #001320\">\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"line1\">When I kept silent, my bones wasted away<\/p>\n<p class=\"line2\">through my groaning all day long.<\/p>\n<p class=\"line1\">For day and night your hand was heavy on me;<\/p>\n<p class=\"line1\">my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"stanza\" style=\"color: #001320\">\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"line1\">Then I acknowledged my sin to you<\/p>\n<p class=\"line2\">and did not cover up my iniquity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"line1\">I said, \u201cI will confess my transgressions to the\u00a0<span class=\"name\">Lord<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"line1\">And you forgave the guilt of my sin.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"line1\">The bitterness, the anger, the discontent, the excuses&#8230;it has a physical effect. A part of the joy in the Lord is missing when we have unconfessed sin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"line1\">Thank you God, that when I confess my sins to you, you are faithful and just to forgive me, only by the precious blood of Jesus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"line1\">\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Have you had those moments when the Holy Spirit convicts you of your sin?
