I read the beginning third of the book, and skipped to the last 2 pages to find the murderer. I didn&#8217;t want to waste time with the details in the middle.<\/p>\n<p>I read slow so unless the writing style is one I can follow easily, I read even slower. This book was somehow hard for me to read. Maybe I&#8217;m just not that interested in the characters. I didn&#8217;t feel any connection with them to want to know what happens to them. It&#8217;s so hard to write a good book, it&#8217;s so hard to be a good author.<\/p>\n<p>This is the <a href=\"https:\/\/katylee.com\/blog\/2019\/08\/27\/the-man-in-the-queue-by-josephine-tey\/\" target=\"_blank\">second Tey book<\/a> I read.
