“So how are you doing?” my sister asked me yesterday.<\/p>\n
My first thought of response was very negative: “Real estate is in the dumps, we couldn’t afford to go on vacation this summer, how do you think I am?”<\/p>\n
But then I thought, am I really doing badly? Why do I evaluate my life based on work? Aside from business and finances, what else is going on with my life?<\/p>\n
I don’t have an abusive husband; in fact, he is a great husband.<\/p>\n
My kids are not doing drugs; in fact, they are responsible, A-students.<\/p>\n
Our air conditioning worked during the over-100-degree heat wave.<\/p>\n
I have great friends that I can depend on, helps out whenever I need.<\/p>\n
My knees are holding up and I have the pleasure of walking Amy to school every morning.<\/p>\n
I am even getting a free piano from my friend.<\/p>\n
In fact, I am doing very well, and I am optimistic that God is in control.<\/p>\n
