1. Tried a new recipe of mini pumpkin pecan pies. Let’s just say I am not going to make them again.<\/p>\n
2. Stayed up past midnight 2 nights playing Ticket To Ride. The first game was won by the youngest in the family; the second game was won by the second youngest. That goes to show you…never feel you have to show mercy when playing games with kids.<\/p>\n
3. Learned a lesson in hospitality. I invited my cousin’s family to Thanksgiving, not knowing what to expect. We are not close, and only see each other occasionally at weddings and funerals. But it was a lot of fun getting to know them. I learned that when you reach out in friendship, it usually ends up to be a good thing.<\/p>\n
4. My coordination ain’t so good. I can’t get past Easy on Rock Band. My excuse is, I was deprived as a child. I never had any music lessons in those formative years.<\/p>\n
