How God “Hears” Prayers All At Once

How can God hear all our prayers at once? This is what little kids ask, but the question has occurred to adults, too. The answer is easy. God doesn’t listen to requests the way we do. We have to pay close attention to the details or else some distraction will cause us to miss something. We then decide how we’re going to act.
Highlights of our weekend with my extended family at Lake Gregory:
A 2.5 mile walk around the lake, taking our time to feed the ducks, trying out the “fitness” apparatuses along the course, and talking with one another.

My friend Barbara: My workout instructor asked if anyone wanted a baby bunny.
Me: I want one! I want one!
For the past month, we’ve been doing research on bunnies, went to see my friend’s bunny, and went to the Humane Society to look for a bunny. I posted this on my wishlist. But I never told Barbara that we wanted one, and I know she never reads my blog. Out of nowhere she mentions about someone who is giving away baby bunnies.

That’s a good question for me to remember. I would not be satisfied. I would love for my children to experience more of God than me. So why am I not pursuing that for myself?
Today’s program on Family Life was “Ten Ways to Romance Your Wife.” They had some pretty good ones.
What do I find romantic with my husband?
Take a walk in the evening together, hand in hand.

Last night, Amy and I saw a real shooting star!
It looked just like the way it’s drawn in the cartoons! From where we were standing, the star fell from right to left in an arch. It was incredible.
I didn’t know there was really such a thing!
Father: I want you to marry a girl of my choice
Son: “I will choose my own bride!”
Father: “But the girl is Bill Gate’s daughter.”
Son: “Well, in that case…ok”
Next Father approaches Bill Gates.
Father: “I have a husband for your daughter.”
Bill Gates: “But my daughter is too young to marry!”

Bonnie gave me the bulbs for my birthday, and they are blooming already! I love the simplicity and the feeling of smoothness of tulips. I have a picture of tulips in our dining room in the background of this picture.
USC beat Cal 7-0!
The weather was great as we sat in the stands of “center court” to watch the singles matches on Saturday. Boy, those guys are buff :) But I was surprised that they do not rush up to the net. They rally from the back court like women’s tennis. (Don’t mistake that to mean they play like girls…) There seems to be a big jump in the level of play from college to professional men’s tennis.
