Unless you have a turtle, chances are your pet will die before you. And if you have more than one pet like we did, you have to go through grieving several times.
It’s too sad, too emotionally draining.
Our bunny Smokey died today…

Sorry to read about Smokey. Tia will be so sad. What happened?
He got sick apparently. But he acted pretty normal all along. Took him to the vet when we noticed he wasn’t here jumpy self. The vet said he was critically ill, breathing was strained, a lump in the stomach, and that he wouldn’t have much of a chance. Rather than taking invasive measures like x-rays which wouldn’t do any good any way, other than scare him, we took him home. He died that afternoon, just before Amy came home from school. She was and is really sad.
