Since I’ve read all the Agatha Christie books and am even rereading some of them, Rex Stout is probably my next choice of mystery writers.
In And Four To Go, Nero Wolfe and his sidekick Archie Goodwin solves 4 murders. The last one – Murder in No Joke – is the best.

Did you know that rats are suppose to be hard-working? I thought ants are known for that. Maybe it’s not appropriate to have an ant on the Chinese zodiac, although a rat is not much better in my opinion.

It has always bothered me that some Christians think that the role of government is to redistribute wealth, that is, tax the rich to give to the poor. Other than the fact that the government waste more money than it actually uses to help the poor, and that a big institution such as the government simply cannot do a good job with accountability to actually aid the poor, it is not even Biblical.

It made me think if I would ever move out of California one day.
To uproot from one’s home state of over 40 years, there’s got to be a darn good reason. I can’t imagine moving just for the sake of a change.

What drew me to this book was the crime fighting couple – Sherlock Holmes and his wife and partner Mary Russell. Yes, Sherlock Holmes is married! I guess Sherlock Holmes is a public domain figure now.
