Amy: “I hate my leg!”
Amy has ezcema on her leg that keeps flaring up. We pray together that God will give her healing. It gets a little better, than it flares up again.
“O God, please answer our prayers! It bothers her so much. I would forego answers to any of my prayers if You would answer this one for Amy.”
“Tell her about my grace instead telling her about healing.”
No hamster talk today. Mike says I am getting too involved, but they are like my babies!
Elliot is taking theater arts, and has been practicing for his role as minister! He officiates a wedding in this student-written play. Yesterday they did their actual performance in front of a live audience of students during second period. Besides being relieved that it’s over, Elliot came home very pleased with the positive response. One of his friends told him that he was really good, that he was made for the part!
Guest teacher in Amy’s class: “If you are from Portugal, you are…..”
Student: “Puerto Rican!”
Guest teacher: “If you are from Portugal, you are Portugese. When you get old, you are a Portugeser!”
As of 2 days ago:
Elliot – 5 ft. 6 in. tall
Audrey – 5 ft. 4 in. tall
Katy – 5 ft. 2 in. tall
Amy – 4 ft. 1 in. short
I wish Amy can stay little for me, just for while longer!
But I also love to see them grow, discovering themselves…
We went to California Adventure on Saturday. We got there at 10:15am and left at 10:15pm. It was great fun. The worst ride was the swinging ferris wheel. I thought I was going to throw up. The best was a tie between the Aladdin show and the Muppets 3-D show.
