Darwin lived (and died) at Down House in a village called Downe, just a few miles from where I live. It is open to the public and I have visited it a couple of times.
There is a story that he became a Christian on his deathbed. Let’s hope so!
I read that there will be big celebrations next year on his 200th birthday. Will there be special events for that at Down House?
