I finally got the book from the library that Elliot recommended. Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card.
I must say, this author is pretty versatile. This book is very different from the one I read before. Overall, I liked both books. I know every scifi lover has read the Ender’s Game series. But since I am not usually a scifi reader, I am probably not going to rate it as high as others may.

California’s largest teacher’s union has given another $1 million to defeat a Nov. 4 ballot initiative that would ban same-sex marriage in the state.
The contribution recorded Tuesday makes the California Teachers Association the largest institutional donor to the No on 8 campaign. CTA also gave $250,000 in August to Equality for All, a coalition of gay advocacy and civil rights groups opposing Proposition 8.
I work in the real estate and mortgage industry, and I agree with Ron Paul. It’s the artificial manipulation of the market that caused the current mortgage crisis.
Note this: Homeowners with a bad loan are not innocent victims. Main Street doesn’t deserve bail out anymore than Wall Street.
We can’t have the cake and eat it too.
Americans want to be prosperous, enjoy the luxuries of life, and complain to the energy company if their air conditioning is down for a few hours. But at the same time, they want to lower their energy usage. It just doesn’t work that way. A prime is example is how Al Gore lives vs what he says about global warming.
